Job Title: Design Lead
GroupUltra Limited is a technology company specializing in developing advanced group chat technology, particularly AI-powered chatbots. Our product goes beyond traditional chatbots found in popular platforms like Discord and Telegram. It allows developers to deeply customize all aspects of group chat, providing open APIs that enable AI integration at every stage of group communication. This approach expands the capabilities of AI beyond simple message sending and receiving, promising a more dynamic and tailored experience for users engaging in group conversations.
As our company continues to deliver high-quality software product solutions and consulting services, our company needs the professional services of a Design Lead who will play a pivotal role in enhancing the usability, consistency, and overall user experience of our products. The Design Lead will ensure that our complex, interaction-driven platforms deliver intuitive, efficient, and high-quality user experiences for both internal and external users. Given the dynamic nature of real-time communication systems and AI integrations, the Design Lead will play a critical role in reviewing and validating user interface requirements, aligning design strategies with product objectives, and translating technical capabilities into accessible and visually consistent interfaces. By collaborating closely with management, developers, and cross-functional teams, the Design Lead will ensure that design solutions address both user needs and technical constraints while maintaining product quality and compliance with industry standards.
The hired individual will be responsible for the following duties:
- Review and validate user interface design requirements for our software products and internal platforms to ensure they accurately reflect the needs of internal users and clients, align with product objectives, and support effective and intuitive user experiences.
- Collaborate with management and developer teams to review and refine design criteria based on identified clients’ needs and ensure user interface solutions effectively address technical considerations while maintaining visual consistency and product quality.
- Develop visual design concepts, including interface layout templates, and modify designs of our software products and internal-use platforms to ensure they meet our projects’ goals, our internal and external users’ needs, and comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members by reviewing and providing guidance on key design concepts, ensuring that design approaches align with business objectives, client requirements, and product goals.
- Review and evaluate user flows, mockups, and design prototypes for the external and internal user virtual interfaces of our software products, providing feedback and directly refining designs where necessary as needed to ensure intuitive user experiences and optimal performance.
- Conduct and coordinate user interface testing and usability evaluations for software products and internal platforms, collaborating with development teams, to establish testing processes and recommend improvements.
- Evaluate user feedback from internal and external users to provide targeted guidance and recommendations to enhance product effectiveness without compromising visual design standards.
- Review and maintain design processes and project timelines, and coordinate with other team members to track deliverables, manage dependencies, and ensure efficient execution of design work in alignment with business and product goals.
Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s degree in graphic design or a related field with significant coursework in virtual design
- 6 months’ work experience as a designer of UX/UI solutions for software products and internal company platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Figma, Adobe After Effects, and Axure RP.
